Annabel is an experienced director, facilitator and consultant. She knows healthcare very well having worked with and for the NHS for over 25 years. She also has worked as on organisation development consultant for international and FTSE 100 companies.

Annabel is an experienced facilitator and coach and works with boards, executive teams and senior multi-professional teams. She has particular skills in designing and then managing large-scale organisation and leadership development programmes within the context of merger and new start-ups. She moves from concept to detailed delivery with ease and her expertise within leadership and OD is widely recognised. She has designed and led talent management programmes for Chief Executives and Directors and is experienced in the design and delivery of tailored selection and development centres.

Most recent work includes organisation development design and delivery to support the integration of healthcare services, teaching and research to form a new Academic Health Sciences Centre, as well as the development of new commissioning skills for Primary Care Trusts.

David's main consulting focus is on coaching individuals and senior management teams, and advising on leadership development and organizational change. His clients range from global brands, European retail and media companies, to the NHS and UK public sector. He has worked with senior civil servants from most UK government departments.

He has also developed a cloud-based organization change platform - teamsandleadership.com - focused on team and leadership development. It provides evidence-based interactive reviews and supporting resources for teams and leaders to use directly for organizational improvement. It is driven by teams themselves and helps them solve real issues as and when they face them. Because of its emphasis on helping people solve real problems, and increasing their skills, it is also intended to provide sustainable improvement in empowerment and well-being.

Before starting Change-fx with Simon Standish in 2000, David worked at top management level for The Body Shop International plc and as Deputy Director at The King's Fund, the UK's leading healthcare think-tank. His early career was spent in management consulting in European multi-nationals, and at the BBC where he spent ten years as a senior manager, first in market research and then in television production.

He has been a Visiting Professor in The Business Schools at Imperial College, London and Kingston University.

Linda works with individuals, teams, boards and whole organisations as a leadership coach and consultant. She has particular expertise in relationship building and conflict management, applying her skills of insight and engagement to unearth difficult underlying issues before moving to support sustainable change. Linda has clients across a broad range of organisations including the NHS, national and local government.

Her expertise derives from over 30 years experience as a leader and manager combined with a deep knowledge of organisational dynamics. Her formative career began at Unilever and then developed as a policy advisor in a trade union, in academia and local government. Since then, she has combined a career as a consultant with chairing boards in the NHS, latterly of a Strategic Health Authority.

In 1991, she was awarded an MBA with distinction at the Cass City Business School and won the PA International Prize for Business Policy.

Peter is a skilled facilitator and planner working with a wide range of health and social care organisations to achieve regeneration, service and organisation development. He has particular skills in working with groups and individuals to resolve conflict and to promote effective collaboration.

Peter knows health and social care services well. He has held managerial and change agent positions within primary and secondary care, within mental health and across with social services and education. He also knows the charity and independent sector having worked with them on important regeneration activities and within the context of Local Strategic Partnerships.

Most recent work includes leadership and support to assist in achieving Foundation Trust status and consultancy to support the DOH team dedicated to working with challenged NHS organisations. He was also responsible for planning and implementing the London component of the Health Protection Agency.

His background, skills and style make him very versatile in working at Board and senior management levels, as well as working at the sharp edge of services.

Simon Standish

Simon is a specialist organisational change and development consultant working in both the private and public sectors. He works as a project manager, process consultant, facilitator and coach in situations varying from organisational mergers, to the design and start-up of new services and organizations. He has particular skills in assessing and developing strategies for change as well as helping clients implement through the application of sound programme and project management. Group and team facilitation is a key part of his work. His passion is for enabling cross functional and cross organisation teams to secure beneficial change with speed.

Simon's change management skills were developing during his early career within operations management and human resources working for Esso and Phillips Petroleum. He extended the range of these skills across sectors working as a management consultant with Price Waterhouse and then Kinsley Lord. He formed Change-fx with David Mathew in 2000.

Simon's private sector experience includes projects for clients in financial services, pharmaceuticals, engineering and professional services; within the public sector he has worked for the NHS, the Prison Service, Local Authorities and Higher Education. More recently he has extended his experience as a non executive director within an NHS hospital trust. He knows the world of healthcare very well having worked across private, public and third sector providers of hospital and community based services.

He is co-author of the book, People Projects and Change published by Premium Books in 2006.
